                       Auto Expo Hero Electric AE-47 Electric Bike

Hero Electric, the largest selling electric scooter company in India, may soon launch the AE-47 E-Bike, which can cost around Rs 1 lakh.


The AE-47 is also being called a high-speed bike, which is meant for the premium segment. It is powered by a 3.5kWh lithium-ion battery. It has a top speed of 85 kmph and can accelerate to 60 kmph in just nine seconds. It has a range of 160 km in Eco mode and 85 km in Power mode.


On the other hand, it will get features like front dist brake with combi braking, rear monoshock, cruise control, digital instrument cluster, keyless access, mobile charger, and reverse mode. Along with this, features of GPS, GPRS, real time tracking and geo-fencing will also be available. Its ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 1.25 to 1.50 lakh.


Apart from this, Hero Electric also unveiled the tri bike Hero Electric trike AE-3 for the first time at the Auto Expo. This will be the first electric bike of its kind in the country. It will get a 2.4kWh lithium-ion battery pack with a 3kWh electric motor. At the same time, its range will be up to 100 km and its top speed will be up to 80 km per hour. It will be fully charged in five hours. It will get auto balance park switch. Also, there will be features like GPS, real time tracking, geo fencing, reverse mode. Its ex-showroom price will be in the range of Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 1.75 lakh.


Hero Electric AE-47 is powered by a 4,000 W electric motor, which has a top speed of over 85 kmph. The AE-47 features a lightweight portable lithium-ion 48V/3.5 kWh battery, and can be fully charged in four hours.
